Welcome to Bundles of Joy. We are here to share with you in your wonderful Journey!
Our services extend to Europe, South America, Asia, Israel and of course North America. We are proud to say that we have worked with Intended Parents of all ethnicities and family unions. The only requirement is that they are ready to start a family and provide a safe loving environment for a child.
Your physician will be the driving force in this endeavor. It will be his or her expertise that will determine if you need an egg donor, a surrogate or oth. Bundles of Joy is here to provide both. Since our inception, we have been working with reproductive endocrinologists who have recommended our services to their patients.
We are fortunate to be located in one of the surrogacy friendliest States in the US. If you choose a surrogate from Florida you can rest assured that she will not have any legal rights to your child as long as the proper documents are filed. The birth certificate will reflect your name(s) indicating that you and only you are the legal parent(s) of this child. Moreover, being such an International State, we can match you with a surrogate who speaks your language and therefore make your communication with her more convenient.
If it is determined that an egg donor is needed, Bundles of Joy has a database of potential donors of all races and ethnicities who are attractive, healthy and well educated. All you have to do is sign up and peruse our database at your convenience. Should you find your dream donor, we will contact her and get you started with her next period. For over 10 years Bundles of Joy has been putting together the most exceptional donors with proud parents-to-be.
We at Bundles of Joy do everything in our power to provide you with an extensive profile for each one of our donors. However, we understand that you might have unique further questions that allow you to get a better idea about her. We are happy to communicate with the donor on your behalf and clarify any doubts you might have.
Over the years we have created close relationships with all the professionals you will need in your journey. Members of our team include attorneys, psychologists and insurance professionals who specialize in Assister Reproductive Technology. Together we will help you overcome any obstacle that delays your results and guarantee that your information will be guarded and never shared.
Bundles of Joy is looking forward to bring you your BUNDLE(s) OF JOY!!!!
Dear Loving Couple (or Loving Mother):
Loving Couple (or Loving Mother) is what we call our egg donation recipients. They are very special people who want to fulfill a dream of starting or continuing a family. Bundles of Joy, LLC was established to enable our Loving Couples’ (and Loving Mothers’)dreams of building a family to come true! Why do they need our help? Because either they cannot or should not conceive due to medical or genetic problems or their age. Most reproductive endocrinologists will have a very limited number of donors unlike the extensive selection of donors available from Bundles of Joy including egg donors and surrogates from out of state which means less chance of your child having children with a biological half-brother or half-sister they meet locally!
Most prospective egg donation recipients have already tried a number of methods to achieve pregnancy. If other methods have failed, it is very common to seek a compatible egg donor as the next logical step in the process. Bundles of Joy works closely with our Loving Couples and Loving Mothers to achieve their goals by matching them with desirable egg donors based upon a variety of considerations: ethnicity, coloring, height, athleticism, intelligence, artistic ability, etc. An extensive interview is conducted to educate our recipients as to the issues they will be dealing with including the medical procedures involved, the process of locating suitable donors (and possibly surrogates) and the costs (including possible travel).
Bundles of Joy is dedicated to your success in locating an appropriate donor. If your desired characteristics are not available among our donors, we will search our worldwide database for donors that meet your criteria. For example, we are associated with reproductive medical facilities in both Europe and South America. If your ideal donor is not among our extensive donor database, Bundles of Joy is prepared to take all necessary steps to locate your perfect donor. [Note: this may involve additional fees and costs.]
THE DONATION PROCESS
Bundles of Joy carefully interviews all of its Loving Couples and Loving Mothers to determine their goals in selecting a suitable donor. All procedures, schedules and costs are explained in detail. After a Loving Couple or Loving Mother has identified their preferred donor profile, Bundles of Joy will quickly prepare a list of prospective donors. Once the Loving Couple or Loving Mother has selected appropriate donor(s), we will contact those donors to establish their availability and whether their schedules can be coordinated with the timeframes established by our Loving Couple or Loving Mother. Once donor(s) are chosen, they must be screened (medically, gynecologically, genetically and psychologically). Also, to reserve donor(s) [to prevent their committing elsewhere] and to start the screening process, a deposit will be required from the Loving Couple or Loving Mother. Once screened and approved for donation, the medical procedures can begin.
Bundles of Joy donors are all carefully and thoroughly pre-screened including detailed questionnaires and interview(s). Donors will already have provided photographs which have been shown to our Loving Couple or Loving Mother. Results of the pre-screening process are used to determine if a potential donor will be a candidate for exhaustive testing which includes medical, genetic, gynecologic and psychological testing.
Once a potential donor has passed the pre-screening, her information is offered to appropriate Loving Couples and Loving Mothers for their consideration based upon their criteria and preferred donor profiles. Once a donor is matched, Bundles of Joy begins their coordination and scheduling services as liaison between the donor, Loving Couple or Loving Mother and medical facility.
DONOR INITIAL TESTING
When a potential donor is matched with a recipient, a blood test is administered on a certain day of her menstrual cycle to determine if she should continue on to the psychological exam.
Once a potential donor passes the initial blood test, she is given a psychological exam by a licensed psychologist experienced in this exact type of analysis to determine if the donor is making a well-informed, reasoned and mature decision. At this stage of the process, potential donors must be completely clear as to their decision and its ramifications and emotionally without conflict. Now it’s just three months until implantation of your embryo!
DONOR MEDICAL AND GENTIC TESTING
The last step of the screening process is comprised of medical and genetic exams conducted by the reproductive endocrinologist. If the donor passes them both, she is ready to begin a donation cycle and is cleared to begin hormone injections to prepare her uterine lining and synchronize her with the recipient.
DONOR INJECTIONS AND PHYSICIAN MONITORING
For approximately 10 to 20 days, the donor is stimulated with hormone injections designed to cause the body to mature more eggs than normal. These eggs would ordinarily remain immature and be eliminated as part of a normal period. During this stimulation phase, the donor is monitored by the reproductive endocrinologist with ultrasound exams and blood tests. At the end of this preparatory timeframe, a final injection is scheduled to prepare all mature eggs for the retrieval procedure.
RETRIEVAL, FERTILIZATION AND REIMPLANTATION
After the last injection, an anesthesiologist will sedate the donor and the reproductive endocrinologist will retrieve all of the donor’s mature eggs. After the retrieval, the recipient’s male partner (or sperm donor) provides sperm and the eggs are fertilized and incubated while they mature. After the fertilized eggs have developed into embryos over several days, a small number of them (usually two) are selected and implanted in the recipient’s womb to develop as a normal pregnancy. Unused embryos can be frozen for future use, donated or disposed of. However, most Loving Couples and Loving Mothers retain unused embryos as potential future brothers and sisters of their babies or for implantation in the event the procedure proves unsuccessful. There are many facilities that offer the necessary freezing technology at minimal cost.
The reproductive endocrinologist will determine whether a “chemical pregnancy” has occurred through a blood test within 10-15 days of reimplantation. Threreafter, whether an actual viable pregnancy has occurred is determined. At that point, the recipient will no longer be under the care of the reproductive endocrinologist but rather, will be under the care of her ob/gyn.
Bundles of Joy will maintain complete confidentiality of the recipient, donor (and baby) unless the recipient and donor both consent to personal contact.
We are an intimate surrogacy agency by design. Some people describe us as a “boutique agency” where you get our full attention and therefore you get a better patient experience.
We kept Bundles of Joy as a small agency so that each and every couple can receive our most personalized attention. We treat our Intended Parents as if they were members of our family and our egg donors and surrogates as if they were aiding US in our own journey. We hear “this is the first time I am doing this”. We know how stressful this journey is for you so we introduce you to all the professionals and the systems that will make your journey as smooth as possible. We are with you from the time you choose your surrogate until after the birth of your child. And remember our goal is the same as yours: to bring to this World a happy and healthy BUNDLE OF JOY.

Questions about Egg Donation:
1- Q. What considerations are important when choosing an egg donor?
Some of our couples look for a young candidate who has physical features similar to those of the Intended Mother’s. Features such as hair and eye color, and a similar height. Other parents put emphasis on race, educational level, etc. It is important for you as a couple to determine what is most important to you and to peruse our database with that in mind.
Another consideration is whether the donor has previously completed a cycle or not. This is a very positive factor because we already know how she reacts to the medications, and to the obligations involved in donating her eggs; thus increasing the likelihood of success.
Finally, the last consideration is the location of her home in relationship to your clinic. Bundles of Joy is ready to make all the necessary arrangements for travel and monitoring in remote clinics other than the one where your doctor works. Obviously this increase in required services will result in an increase of cost as well.
2- Q. To what extent is the donation anonymous?
Bundles of Joy and all the professionals involved in this process maintain complete anonymity. The names of both the parties and your personal information is never disclosed to the other party. Moreover, when the contracts are executed, these are done in separate documents so that the other party does not see the other person’s signature which normally contains the name of the signer.
There are exceptions which will have to be discussed and accepted by both parties before proceeding.
3- Q. What happens if in the future should we need the identity of the donor for a medical reason?
We recommend that when creating the agreement, parents ask for a clause by which the donor can be contacted in the future through lawyers. Usually the donor understands the importance of such a clause and agrees to it.
4- Q. What If we do not find a viable candidate in the database of Bundles of Joy?
Bundles of Joy will make every effort to find a donor with the characteristics desired by prospective parents from our extensive nationwide contacts.
Questions about Surrogate Mother:
1- Q. How does Bundles of Joy match us with a compatible surrogate mother?
After meeting with the Intended Parents we review their application which takes into consideration their wishes such as: religion of the surrogate mother, race, geographical location where she lives, and her opinions on important issues such as the reduction of a multiple pregnancy and abortion. Surrogate mother candidates also inform us of their wishes. Our job is to match the surrogate mother with the couple who most resemble their mutual desires.
Once both parties are informed about their possible match, we make a personal or Skype appointment for the parties to begin familiarizing themselves with one another and for all questions to be asked. This meeting should be done before the start of the medical and psychological pre-screening.
2- Q. How much contact will we have with the surrogate mother before, during and after the pregnancy?
The relationship with the surrogate mother is completely open. We recommend that until contracts are signed the relationship should be through the agency only. After contracts are executed, our recomendation is to be assign a weekly or biweekly appointment to communicate. In this way both parties can continue with their daily lives and have a pleasant visit via telephone or Skype.
In regards to after the delivery, both parties will decide. It is our experience that, in the majority of cases, there is a true friendship between parents and the surrogate mother, which continues in the future. It is also our experience that both parties are not ready to decide until after the birth of the child.
3- Q. Will we have contact with the obstetrician who takes care of our surrogate mother?
The mother signs a release of medical records at the office of the obstetrician allowing prospective parents and the Agency to have access to all health information during the pregnancy. Besides, during the initial interview the wishes of the Intended Parents regarding those important moments is discussed in advance. Both parties know then what to expect during important ultrasounds and during the birth of the child.
4- Q. To what extent is the candidate evaluated before she is presented to us?
Bundles of Joy interviews the candidate and her family. Then the candidate fills out questionnaires. Subsequently the Agency will order a criminal background check of all adults in her home. In addition, Bundles of Joy will collect all accessible medical records describing pregnancies and births of each of her children.
Finally, it will be the doctor of assisted reproduction who will review this information and make a full physical, genetic and gynecological exam and then hopefully give the “green light” to continue with the Protocol that will make her pregnant.
5- Q. How do we know that the mother will give us our baby after birth?
The mother will engender a baby who does not have her own genetics. Therefore, according to the laws of the State of Florida, she cannot decide later that the baby is hers. In addition, prior conversations with the parents and open communication help to minimize this risk. Although it is possible for the surrogate mother to have a special affection for the baby, it is clear from the outset that the baby belongs to the couple. Moreover, the baby is given to the Intended Parents immediately after birth and the surrogate mother will not breastfeed the baby.
6- Q. There are certain medical insurance to cover to our surrogate mother? And our baby?
Currently, infertility treatments are not covered by any medical insurance. The couple should make direct arrangements with the reproductive technology doctor for this period. Once the surrogate mother goes under the care of an obstetrician, Bundles of Joy will recommend several insurance options or payment methods to choose from. As for the baby, when parents are carriers of health insurance in the United States, the baby is automatically insured for the first 30 days of life. International parents are also offered viable alternatives.
7- Q. What happens if during the pregnancy we have differences of opinion as to the care of our surrogate mother?
This is a process which requires much trust from both sides. Our recommendation is to rely on the experience of Bundles of Joy so that our representatives work as mediators on the issue. As neutral intermediaries we will try to reach a solution acceptable to both parties. Obviously, the opinion of the obstetrician will be a key component in reaching a decision.
8- Q. We would like to get a birth certificate with our names as parents. Will we be required to adopt our baby?
Lawyers can explain with more detail the procedures needed for the baby and her Intended Parents to be on the same birth certificate. Bundles of Joy will recommend lawyers specializing in assisted reproductive technology law to guide you. But usually this is not a problem.
